Research of mushrooms lectins of RUSSULACEAE family. A genus Russula
Abstract
A result of screening lectins 14 species fruiting bodies of mushrooms genus Russula were represent. The lectins were found in 6 species (R cyanoxanta, R. foetens, R. nigricans, R. grisea, R. atropurpurea, R. aeruginea). Were investigated carbohydrate specificity found lectins. All lectins do not interacted with monosaccharides, but it is good inhibited group-specific substances of human bloods, bovine thyroglobulin and human immunoglobulin G. The lectins of mushrooms species Russula is inhere high lability. Hemagglutination activity strongly reduces after drying, freezing, precipitation of ammonium sulphate and ethanol, dialysis against water and buffer solutions. The possible mechanism of lectin lability is discussed.
