Abstract

In the review literary data and results of investigations about quantitative relationship between drug molecule’s spatial structure and pharmacological activity (Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship, QSAR) are summarized. QSAR-method is widely used by biologists, chemists, physical chemists, pharmacologists, pharmacists all over the world. According to the Internet at 1.05.2009 there were 8140 articles with word QSAR. First article was published in 1971 year. Prospect investigations with QSAR-method in different aspects of chemical, biological, pharmacological field will support drug discovery and its proper clinical use.
