The effect of water-soluble protein-polysaccharide complex from Pleurotus ostreatus on cataract development in rats
Abstract
The effect of water-soluble protein-polysaccharide complex (WSPPC) from Pleurotus ostreatus on cataract development in rats has been studied on metabolic cataract model. The use of WSPPC on cataract modeled rats significantly reduced cataract manifestation that was found as crystalline lens transparence maintaining.
