Voltamperometric determination of diprazine as its sulfoxide, obtained by potassium peroxomonosulphate

Abstract

The uniform methods of indirect polarographic determination of promethazine hydrochloride as its S-oxide, obtained by potassium peroxymonosulphate were developed. The conditions of derivation of promethazine in the corespond S-oxide followed by voltammetric measurement of the produced derivative polarographically with the rectangular shape of polarired voltage on the valvular mercury electrode were optimized. When the quantification of promethazine hydrochloride in injection solutions and in syrup is RSD< 3,3% (δ =+0,61.. .+1,28 %).
