Abstract

The results of study of fatty acid and amino acid content in Japan quince (Chaenomeles Lindl.) seeds different species are presented in this article. Among the fatty acids in seeds of Japan quince 80% are oleic and linoleic acid. Leucine, histidine, lysine and arginine are 60% of the total amino acid content of Japan quince seeds.
