Abstract

This paper studied using differential scanning calorimetry method for determining the quality filtration solutions, in terms of finding out the causes of loss of main and auxiliary substances at this stage of production.

The purpose of our work was to determine the applicability of differential scanning calorimetry for assess mentoffil tration quality of the L'esfal product, especially for establishing of cause of preservative loss.

Studied the thermal parameters (temperature scanning heat capacity jump at the glass transition, melting point, enthalpy of melting, crystallization temperature, the total enthalpy of crystallization, the degree of crystallinity) materials filter Kleenpak Capsule Filters of Pall Corporation (Part number: KA2DFLP1S; LOT NO: IN5441, LOT NO: IN8854 and LOT NO: IS5774) and DEMICAP PROPOR PES 0,20 micron of Domnick hunter (LOT NO: 1212538).

Found that investigating filters have some differences in thermal characteristics that affect the quality of filtration. It is proved that the presence of additional thermal effects in the material leads to adsorption filters for filtration preservative preparation «Lesfal».
