Abstract

Investigation of hemolytic activity of the samples of fumed silica with different amount of chitosan adsorbed on the surface has been carried out. It is revealed essential decreas of hemolytic activity of the chitosan modified fumed silica comparatively with initial fumed silica. The biocompatibility of the fumed silica increases with increase of degree of its surface modifying.
