The synthesis of new spinaceamine derivative with high antihypertensive activity
Abstract
By reduction of l-methyl-2-methylthio-5-(p-methoxyphenacyl)imidazo[4,5-c]pyridinium bromide with sodium borohydride in methanol-water solution was synthesized the l-methyl-2-methylthio-5- (ß-p-methoxyphenyl-ß-oxyethyl)spinace-amine in 92 % yield. Hydrochloride of it has been found a high antihypertensive and hypotensive activity more then activity of dibazole, and comparable with activity of clopheline.
